Join us for the signature sound of international jazz vocalist, Jenny Davis and jazz guitarist, Chuck Easton. This finely honed duo, draws in audiences to the intimacy and thrill of the jazz genre. Composer, bandleader, and jazz vocalist Jenny Davis is a passionate human rights advocate. In her 4th album, REARRANGED, she has set to music her original scores, deeply inspired by her devotion to promote acceptance of diversity. Rearranged features an all-star cast, including multi-Grammy nominated Brazilian pianist, Jovino Santos Neto,award-winning flugelhornist, Dmitri Matheny and New York’s Sirius String Quartet. Jenny’s tour schedule has included U.S. and European tours. She holds an M.F.A. in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from Cornish College of the Arts.

Touring throughout the West Coast during the 1970s, Chuck Easton played in jazz, swing, and various big bands in Seattle. He graduated from Boston’s Berklee College of Music, where he was a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Composition Award. A long-time faculty member of Centrum’s Jazz Port Townsend, currently directed by John Clayton. He held the position of conductor for NW Big Band, 30 years as bassist with Port Townsend Symphony Orchestra and continues to serve on various musical boards of directors, performing throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada with many of the highest level jazz players in the world. Chuck is a multi-instrumentalist and educator. He currently teaches at Crossroads Music in Port Townsend and Island Music Guild on Bainbridge Island.
